These magazine clippings keep getting moved around my office. I finally decided to tidy up some paper work and decided to finally scan these and then recycle the originals. And since I know my readers, I thought I would share them with you.
[UPDATE 7/9/12: Last night I Googled “Harland Miller” to see if this was a real Penguin title. It isn’t. Turns out that Harland Miller is an author and painter. He has done lots and lots of paintings and prints of fantastic Penguinish covers. I really want one. Just do a Google image search on his name. The pictures that come up are many and great.]

| How to make clutter pretty. I love the thought of poring over documents and photos that require a magnifying glass, I love the cubbies, I love the rack of stationary, the pen holder, and the binoculars – for birds of course. |

| Although my mind is well ordered, I don’t necessarily like too tidy a bulletin board. But I like how this one suggests a creative person. Plus it gives me a good idea of where to put my Emmy. |

Great photos. The third one down, though? Ahhhmazing. It's such an ordered, beautiful, lived-in space. It's really lovely.

I worry that Cox's matching dress suggests she's more interested in the aesthetics than in the literary leanings of the image… (but Cougar Town is still an awesome show!)

The bear on the floor… what can you say…besides, yuk, love the second photo of the library. Like the little orange chair. It would fit well in my Penguin room with my other orange furniture. The Penguin painting is just great, can't say more about that. Great fun, all the pics.

Ooh, I want that desk… with the little cubbyholes on the top… I would love it so much.. I would file my letters and bills, and I'd need a proper old-fashioned ink well to replace my bottle of permanent blue, and perhaps a new fountain pen, and a blotter, and some nice paper – but I've got an Victorian or Edwardian letter opener, which would be ideal!
