[Gleeful snort] (Does it apply to the endpapers too?)

“Meh?” Oh my goodness, I LOVED that book, so reminiscent of Charlotte Perkins Gilman's The Yellow Wallpaper and the absolute power men had over women at the time.

Succinct and to the point. I read this straight after Little Boy Lost … what a comedown.

This both made my jaw hit the floor (because I loved the book) and made me laugh and laugh and laugh (because I loved the post),

Hahahahaha. Succinct, Thomas, succinct. I felt similarly a few years ago but it was one that grew on me after time (the same with Cheerful Weather for the Wedding). I still preferred Little Boy Lost and To Bed With Grand Music.

Frances: I am glad you giggled. Have read this?

Skiourophile: Yes, it does apply to the endpapers as well. I would not want that in my house.

    Aarti: It sure can be.

Emily: Despite your comparing the two, I still want to read TYW. I think I even own a copy. I thought the most sinister person in the book was Adelaide–she was the one that whispers the threatening comment in her ear.

Sasha: Because you hated the book or just liked the review?

Susan: Your comment is even more succinct than my review.

Natalie: I am glad you liked the post given our differing opinions on the book.

Rachel: Good to know I am not alone.

Mary: I did like LBL, but perhaps less than the rest of the world.

Simon: I am glad you laughed. Maybe a re-read someday will make me think differently. I am tempted to do so sooner than later.

Claire: It took me a while to warm up to CWFTW, but did about half way through it.
