I was going to wait a few days before I posted these but John has been away on business since Tuesday and he is missing Lucy. So this post is for him.
It is a wonder we got any photos of Maine on this vacation. All just a backdrop for Lucy (aka: Little Lulu, Lucinda, Lucy J. Prufrock, Pupsi, Honeybear, Chompers, etc.)

I just found your blog and am quite taken with Lucy. She is adorable! What kind of dog is she?

I spy your copy of Monte Cristo! It's very familiar to me as it was my daughter's ninth-grade summer reading (and I'm proud to say she finished it two weeks early.) I'll probably try and read it sometime this year when she's done with it for school.
What charming photos of Lucy — glad to hear about the bee failure. I used to have a dog that would stalk bees in the yard and it never ended well, poor thing.
And my dog's nicknames are Lucy Goosey and Lucy Naughtypants.

It was a lucky day for Lucy when you and John walked into the shelter. She had a super time on her holiday too by the looks of things!
Deacon thinks he has two names, the other one is 'Monkey'.

I totally get the Lucy thing since we have a pup now too. If you want to check out my pup, I just uploaded a video of her!

Book Girl: I am glad you found My Porch. We are pretty sure that Lucy is part corgi and part hound.
Denise: We don't need TV when she is around.
Karen: I can't believe I forgot to include Goosey Lucy as one of her many names. I am on hold with Monte Cristo, probably until the end August when the Novella thing wraps up.
Darlene: It might be us projecting our own feelings, but Lucy seems to miss Maine.

Rhapsody: They even go out staighter than in that photo. When they do I refer to it as airplane ears because they look like wings.
Stu: Glad you are enjoying them.
Lucy: It was hard to keep her away from those flower pots which were attracting the bees.
Christy: Her eyes can melt butter.
Ti: Such a cute video. I worry about how obssessive we would get if we started taking video of Lucy. Lucy and your pup would get along really well. We discovered on vacation that Lucy plays very well with little pups.
