Thomas Jefferson’s home and plantation. Although the house is very interesting. The vegtable garden is always my favorite thing at Monticello. Even in early April one can see what a deliciouis patch of veggies this is.
I SO love Monticello. I used to visit once per year but haven't made it back there for the past couple of years. Your pictures are really making me yearn. I also love the gardens.

They are called cloches (French for bell) and they help keep frost away from plants in the early spring.

They are often made of glass as well.
