One of the nice things about buying books in out of the way places is that they tend to have books for sale that stayed in houses for years before re-entering the marketplace. I love some of these bookplates in my recent purchases.

I love the comment “this is a GOOD book” even more than the bookplates. Thats why a used book is infinitely better than a new one, I love the history and finding surprise ephemera.
