Snowpocalypse 2010: I Stayed Inside

We find forced air heating oppressive so we tend to keep the temperature in our apartment very cool. The result is that you need to bundle up sometimes.

This is me trying to figure out what to read next.

A scene from the guest room.
Birds taking refuge under the hydrangea on our terrace.

Such cute little birds! I actually went out into the snow yesterday and cleared off my car and made snow angels and did a little shoveling. Emphasis on the little.

Great pics. I do the same thing when I'm trying to decide what to read next. Books on the bed and a growing pile in the bedroom. Sigh! The problem of having a growing To-be-read pile and too many choices.

Lu: I actually like to shovel snow. I grew up in Minnesota and liked not only the sense of accomplishment but also the peaceful contempletive nature of shovelling (espcially at 5 AM).

Mrs B: Sometimes too much choice can be difficult.
