Very impressed with your Christmas preparations Thomas! Such a cosy setting and everything looks delicious. I'm more than happy to take my dog out for an extra long walk this morning to work off some calories from yesterday. Hoping you and yours had a wonderful Christmas Day, enjoy the rest of the holiday!

Blimey that looks like a delightful tea. Mind you I cannot think about food, I feel perminantly full from yesterday. Phew!

Rather surprised that there were any scones left as they looked pretty darn good.

I love how you shared your prep with us. I do hope John is feeling better and that your Christmas was merry.

Darlene: I wish I had a dog to walk. We are planning to get one in late winter/early spring.

Simon: For once I didn't overstuff myself. Mind, I ate plenty, just didn't go to bed sick.

Ti: My prep photos were an amaturish homage to Smitten Kitchen, a wonderful food blog with great photos and great recipes. And a good sense of humor.

Now that looks like a holiday tradition to emulate! Tea and books. Mmm. Love your pictures of your holiday celebrations – hope you both enjoyed the day and that John is feeling better.
