I've not heard of Mika before your post but I checked out the page and have to say it's pretty interesting. Personally, I am stuck in the 80's but that's me ;)

Oh gosh – I heart Mika too. His first album was one of the few “frivolous” things I allowed myself to purchase when I was living in Boston and all penniless and stuff.

I think I'm going to have to go acquire this now!

Ti: If you are stuck in the 80s you will probably like Mika. His stuff is very derivative (in a good way).

Megan: I don't think you will be disappointed. Worth the expense!

I wasn't sure about Mika at first but I've really come round. He's a guilty pleasure now, like Scissor Sisters. Don't have any of the albums, though.

I don't think I have heard anything by him except that first one of his that everyone knows but I can sort of hear it bouncing in my head now bouncing and trilling around.
Thanks for popping over to see me at craftypeople.wordpress.com but to follow on from your comment I think it was probably just as well that you DIDN'T stumble into that church converted nto a bookshop. You would probably never have emerged again. I wonder if they have to roam the aisles and check that there no overnight stowaways!
Have you ever visited dovegreyreader.co.uk I'm really surprised that she isn't on your blogroll. Also harrietdevine.typepad.com

Happy travels till you are back on your porch again.
